Arley Hall, a Grade 2 listed Private Hall and Gardens is nestled deep in the Cheshire Countryside.

D3 Design were appointed to conceptualise and develop new restaurant and dining facilities within the grade 2 barn now known as The Gardner’s Kitchen.

The works involved complete re configuration of the internal spaces to form an operational kitchen and restaurant but maintaining sympathy to the historic environment and beautiful buildings. We worked closely with the team onsite to ensure our design concept met and exceeded their expectations throughout the project.

As the photo show, we created a beautiful restaurant within the barn, sympathetic yet utilising modern design features and technology. The food servery is finished in marble and painted timber with a distinctive greenhouse effect frame fabricated from powder coated steel. Illuminated by suspended festoons and feature wall lighting the environment adds to the splendour of Arley Hall.

We are particularly proud of this project and how it demonstrates our capability to sensitively work within historical building and the different requirements they demand versus a new build environment.
